Houston firefighters deliver excellent service, are good stewards of city resources, and give back to the community. But firefighters and their families sometimes need a helping hand too. The Foundation is dedicated to helping firefighters and their families and others in the community in their times of need.
On January 7, 2025, Sr. Captain Edward Escamilla, Firefighter Jonathan Guzman, and Firefighter Darren Jones were badly injured while responding to an apartment fire in their territory.
